An e-mail confirmation will tentatively hold a booking. Bookings are confirmed when I have received your deposit. For trips booked more than 45 days prior to departure a deposit of 50% of the program fee will secure your trip. Balance of payments is due 45 days prior to the start date of the trip. One day bookings or trips booked within 45 days of departure will require full payment.
My preferred method of payment is Interact online transfer. This is secure for you & me and protects us both. I will also accept cash or personal cheques. I do not accept credit cards.
Rates will vary with the number of people and the trip. Once we have determined the details of an itinerary I will provide a firm quote of my fees and charges. Rates include guiding fee plus group equipment. Rates do not include participant's personal climbing or skiing equipment, transportation, park fees, meals or accommodation. All additional costs are the responsibility of the client.
Participants will be required to read and sign the Association of Canadian Mountain Guides waiver prior to starting the program. This is required by my insurer and the land managers responsible for the land we climb and ski on. The ACMG waiver can be viewed and downloaded at the following URL: http://www.acmg.ca/03public/resources/waiver.asp
If you cancel prior to 45 days of the departure date you will be refunded the guiding fee less $300.00. If I am able to fill your canceled dates I will refund the entire guiding fee less $50.Trips cancelled within 45 days of departure you are liable for the entire guiding fee. Any further trip costs which are not refunded to me (booked accommodation, airfare, hut fees and such) will remain the responsibility of the client.
It is impractical for me to cancel trips due to bad weather or poor conditions. If you are booked on a singular peak with limited options consider this before you book! Trip cancellation insurance available through your travel agent is a good idea for all trips.
